Two finely carved antique Zulu prestige staffs. The first entwined with serpents which were considered to be messangers of the ancestral spirits, and the second partially decorated with an elegant spiral pattern.
These types of artifacts were prized by the British as souveriers and commonly added a ferrule as is the the case here (since removed). 
Both excellent examples and in very good antique condition with signs of use.
