Possibly the best Zulu War Relic we have ever seen.  From a well known British Collection, this Martini Henry Mk. 1 was recovered from the mud of the Buffalo River at the end of Fugitives drift by a Mr. Tony Davis in 1960. Mr. Davis regulary exhibited this fine relic at Arms shows and similar during the 1980s and was required by the law of the day to apply a saw cut to the barrel.
Beautifully framed in a way the the relic may be removed at any time for closer inpection.
