Comissioned by the the Natal Government in 1906, it took J. Stuart 7 years to complete this work. A First Edition copy with 5 maps, 6 plans and 25 illustrations and a detailed account of Dinizulus arrest, trial and expatriation – an essential volume for any collector of the Zulu Wars.

In very good condition with original red cloth binding titled in gilt to the spine. light fraying to the cloth, some foxing and browning to a few pages, and a previous owner has traced the books title in pencil on the frontsoiece tissue guard.
