Huge bladed iklwa with great patina, and unusuall twine binding sealed with animal fat  that we believe to be original. Twine was available to the Zulu through traders like Cornelious Vijn. The end of haft has a bulbous rise rather than the the more usual flare, and terminates in a point. A very attractive example in good antique condition with some small scrapes/loss of patina on one side of the blade.
